RefactorU and Projects

I just finished 10 weeks of intense learning, practice, and implementation. RefactorU was an awesome experience. It is truly amazing how one can learn so much and be so powerful in such a short time.

• NodeJS - Javascript back-end
• Twitter Bootstrap - Front-end framework including responsive web design
• jQuery
• express

• AngularJS - Amazing single page front end framework and so much more
• D3js - Data Driven Documents, an amazing library to visualize any data, including map data

• MapTweet.Info - My capstone/final project for class(and continuing to improve)
  • Uses AngularJS, Twitter API, and Google Maps API to list a few.

• Colorado's 2012 Medicare Payment Data Visualized - Collaboration with fellow students @Lamperta and @keunicek
  • Uses D3js for both the pie chart and the map.
  • jQuery for animations and DOM manipulation and traversal
